skunk trap not working as expected

After fun hog's dog was sprayed with a skunk he got a skunk cage so we could catch and shoot it (if you don't want us to shoot it feel free to come pick it up).

Skunks are apparently smart or don't like gourmet food. I did some research and suggested that we use peanut butter or cat food in the trap. Instead he first put poached halibut with old bay in the trap (leftovers). Then chicken he made with a spice rub that made it taste like fried chicken even though it wasn't. Last night he tried curry infused smoked turkey.

Well, someone likes turkey. Just not the skunk.
